Lip filler is one of the hottest cosmetic procedures today appealing to the twenty-somethings and up. Who doesn’t want lips like Angelina Jolie? Plumping your pout will enhance your overall appearance. As we age, our lips lose collagen and become thinner with more creases over time. Revanesse Lips, as the name would indicate was designed specifically for, yes you guessed, the lips to restore or create volume and smooth out wrinkles for a plump appearance.
What is lip filler?
Almost everyone can benefit from lip filler. So, how do they work and what is a dermal filler exactly. Dermal fillers are nothing new and have been around for over 40 years but they’ve come a long way since then. Revaness Lips is an FDA-approved dermal filler made from a natural substance called hyaluronic acid (HA) a carbohydrate found in the body. When you have a lip consultation with Jorden McPhee, she can explain the process and create a treatment plan for you.
Why do our lips lose volume?
We produce less collagen as we age and collagen is the key component that keeps the skin plump and healthy. Collagen loss can give our lips a thin, wrinkled appearance. Revanesse Lips is designed to enhance the size and proportion of our features, so they appear more voluminous. Designed for mild to moderate loss of volume in the lips. This filler has been refined to deliver the best results for a smooth, even, full lip.
Benefits of Revanesse Lip filler include:
- No downtime
- Minimally invasive procedure
- Last 10-14 months
- Natural-looking results
- Immediate results
Developing your treatment plan
Before we can develop a treatment plan, we will learn about your aesthetic goals. Whether you want natural or dramatic results, Jorden McPhee, APRN can meet your needs. Ideal candidates desire to enhance thin or wrinkled lips, while others may want to reshape them or make them more even. During your consultation, Jorden will evaluate your facial features to determine if this product is right for you.
How Revanesse Lips is administered
Revanesse Lips filler is performed in our Med Spa in Brandon, FL. Typically, only one 30-minute session is required to achieve your desired results. However, some patients may need to return for a follow-up appointment. We will have you arrive a few minutes early to apply a topical numbing gel to minimize any pain or discomfort. Then the filler is injected into the area with a very small needle. You may use ice to reduce swelling and bruising. Your lips will be slightly swollen for 24-48 hours. After your treatment, patients can return to their normal day.
